My Pregnancy Skin Care Routine

I know I have been a terrible blogger! I promised myself I would blog everyday religiously, but I've been lazy! Anyway, I want to share my skin care routine with all of you. My skin care routine changed slightly since I got pregnant, I still have a good bit of steps to my routine- I just can't use anything with salycylic acid, lactic acid or glycolic acid now. Three natural ingredients too, but they get in the bloodstream and can harm baby boy and I will not risk that! Here's what I do though: P.S.- If any of you ladies haven't tried Eminence Organics, you're seriously missing out! Everything ACTUALLY IS natural, organic and made only with fruits, vegetables and herbs! You can even get order samples to try something before you buy the full size(seems like no product line does that anymore, right?) Go to www.buynaturalskincare.com and get some samples! I'll do a product recommendation   this week too for every skin type since I worked with that line for years at various spas and it's been my favorite for even longer!

Sweet Red Rose Cleanser, this is the cleanser I use since most of their cleansers have natural salycylic, glycolic and lactic acids(all naturally derived in the fruits) in them and this one doesn't. Did you know aspirins have salycylic acid in them? Totally random, but pregnant women also can't take aspirin. I personally love it! I don't like foaming cleansers, all they do is push the dirt around on your face... Yuck! I prefer cleansing milks, which is what this is. I use this twice a day, once in the morning and once at night.

Citrus Exfoliating Wash, this exfoliant is great! It's a mechanical(it's grainy) exfoliant, so it's more like a scrub. I love exfoliating, it's what keeps your skin glowing! I use this 2 to 3 times a week when I'm using a masque which I also use 2 or 3 times a week and I exfoliate right after I cleanse.

This masque is amazing! Chocolate Mousse Hydration Masque is just yummy smelling. You can also eat all of Eminence's products! Yup, they're 100% natural and organic! I use this 2 or 3 times a week when I exfoliate too and I use it right after exfoliating. I like to get in a warm shower while this is on my face to let it really get into my pores. Whoever made up the whole chocolate is bad for the skin wives tale is wrong, because this masque does wonders! It plumps up the skin and just makes your skin baby soft!

Soothing Chamomile Tonique, this is great for sensitive skin! It smells incredible too! I spray some on a cotton round and wipe all over my face after cleansing(or if I'm using exfoliant and masque- I use this after using both of them) I also like to spray some directly on my face to rehydrate my skin during the day.

Strawberry Rhubarb Hyaluronic Serum, I could gush about this product all day! Literally I could, but this product is so amazing because of the hyaluronic acid, it's one of the best ingredients and it's found in the marshmallow plant! Yup, the marshmallow plant. It's totally, completely 100% natural and amazing! This product is my favorite and it's a necessity for me! It make your skin so vibrant, youthful and glowing! It's been my skin care secret for the past almost 2 years(as soon as it came out) It smells amazing too! It smells like strawberry pie! Strawberries are great for natural exfoliation too because of the seeds. I can assure you this product isn't seed though. This is also great for all skin types! If your skins looking a little dull or if you just want to add something to your daily skin care routine, trust me this is it! I use this twice a day after cleansing and toning(or if I'm using exfoliant and masque I cleanse, exfoliate, use the masque, tone then apply serum)

Sour Cherry Whip Moisturizer,  I love this moisturizer too! It makes your pores smaller and it's great for super dry skin. Most pregnant women break out, I got HORRENDOUSLY dry skin! It was so dry that it hurt! This completely changed that, I love this product, you can mix it with a spritz of tonique to thin it out too. It is thick and rich, but it's so great and moisturizing. I use this twice a day too after cleansing and toning and if I'm using exffoliant and masque of course I cleanse, exfoliate, use the masque, use the tonique, use the serum, then finally use the moisturizer. I hope you ladies check out Eminence Organic Skin Care Line! Order some samples and pamper yourselves, you deserve it!

26 Weeks down 14 more to go!

I've been pregnant for 6 months and the time has really flew by. I am so excited to meet my little man Cash Michael. I cannot wait to look into those perfect little eyes. I love pregnancy! Some women complain about it and I can't lie- there was a lot of complaining during the first trimester since I had horrendous morning sickness! Yes, horrendous, I was puking at least 8 times a day and nothing helped. Thank goodness I am past all that! I feel great most days, I'm starting to lose energy slowly but that's to be expected during the third trimester. I love pregnancy though, I feel so beautiful and sexy honestly! So many women hate being pregnant, but I see it as this amazing gift, especially since all women can't have children. I love being that close to my son, feeling him move is so special and I feel like my pregnancy is such a privilege. I love all of it, the strange cravings even! During my pregnancy I've craved all sorts of stuff! During the end of my first trimester ( I couldn't even think about food in the beginning) all I wanted was cheeseburgers! No, it's not the healthiest thing, but my midwife told me to just eat whatever I could stomach and at the time that's what I wanted. For a while all I wanted was Mexican food, chimichangas and chicken quesadillas. Now all I want is anything avocado and anything pumpkin! Oh and I love bananas and granny smith apples! Cash Michael doesn't care too much for most sweets though which is good. I am just hoping he won't constantly crave them once he's a little older, but hey he can't have it if I don't buy it. I can't wait to be a mommy though, I know I was meant to be a mother.
